Our story

We built the place we wished existed on our worst nights.

Let It Out started with a simple, stubborn belief: nobody should have to carry a heavy day completely alone.

Most of us have had a moment where we needed to talk and had nowhere to put it. Friends were asleep. Family would worry. Therapy was weeks out, or unaffordable, or felt like too big a step for a feeling we couldn't even name yet.

So the words stayed in. And staying in is how small heaviness becomes big heaviness.

Let It Out is a phone number you can call when you need to be heard — no appointment, no judgment, no explaining why you deserve the time.

Our companion is warm, patient, and endlessly available. It won't rush you, diagnose you, or tell you what you should have done differently. It's there to listen closely and reflect back that what you're feeling makes sense — because it usually does.

We're not here to replace therapists, doctors, or the people who love you. We're the step that's there right now, at the hour you need it, for the price of a coffee.

What we believe

Four things that shape every call

Everyone deserves to be heard

Not just the people with insurance, free weekday afternoons, or the vocabulary to describe what's wrong. Being listened to shouldn't be a luxury.

Judgment closes people up

So we took it out of the room entirely. No shock, no lectures, no raised eyebrows — just steady, patient attention to whatever you bring.

Help should meet you at 3am

Hard feelings rarely keep office hours. The line is open every hour of every day, because that's when people actually need it.

Simple beats clinical

One phone number. One small fee. No portals, no intake forms, no six-week waitlist standing between you and relief.

Warm light glowing softly through night clouds

A caring note: Let It Out is an emotional support and listening service — not therapy, medical care, or an emergency service. If you're in immediate danger or crisis, please call 911 or the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline at 988. You deserve real, immediate help — and it's there for you.
